Through experiential learning with horses, reflection, and guided practice, you’ll explore how to:
- See the session as a living story, noticing characters, relationships, locations, timelines, and what is emerging in the moment.
- Work with the SEEN™ and HERD™ Keystones, bringing the ARCH Story Framework from concept into real-time facilitation.
- Explore how stories move and expand, practicing facilitator roles and choices that help deepen the story while honoring its natural flow.

- In-Person, On Location: Two full days of experiential, interactive learning with horses.

- Earn 12 CEUs: Fulfills professional licensure requirements for mental health professionals.

Before You Attend
SEEN Through Horses brings the ARCH Story Framework to life through hands-on practice and experience.
Your SEEN Through Horses experience begins with ARCH Membership, which gives you access to the foundational online courses that prepare you for the workshop:
- ARCH Foundation Course: The SEEN™ Keystones | Approximately 9 hours
- SEEN Through Horses: The HERD™ Keystones | Approximately 4 hours
We highly encourage completing both courses before attending. Coming with this shared foundation allows you to go deeper in your own learning and helps create a richer experience for the entire group as we spend our time together practicing and applying the framework.

- Completion of the ARCH Foundation Course: The SEEN Keystones (online)
- Completion of SEEN through Horses: The HERD Keystones (online)

ARCH Annual and Organizational Members receive an additional 20% discount on workshop registration.
Workshops outside the U.S. may have different pricing.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made at least two weeks before the workshop receive a full refund. For cancellations within two weeks, a $150 cancellation fee applies. This fee may be waived if you transfer your registration to another ARCH event or need to cancel due to illness.
A Step Toward ARCH Certification
SEEN Through Horses fulfills the experiential workshop requirement for professionals pursuing ARCH Certification in Equine-Assisted and Nature-Based Services.
Upon completing the workshop, you’ll receive a certificate of completion for this hands-on, experiential training.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your attendance at the workshop, we offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the event. For cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event, a $150 cancellation fee will apply. However, this fee may be waived if you choose to apply your payment toward another ARCH event or if the cancellation is due to illness or COVID-related concerns.
Certification
Upon completing this workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion highlighting your hands-on training in SEEN Through Horses. This workshop qualifies as one of the prerequisite options for practicing professionals seeking ARCH Certification, demonstrating your commitment to professional growth and excellence in equine-assisted facilitation.
